No more long waiting times for talking therapies

According to NHS Digital, 75% of people referred to Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services start treatment within 6 weeks of referral and 95% start treatment within 18 weeks of referral. This is too long for many people who are struggling and require immediate help.

An independent pilot run by Kernow Digital Testbed and the University of Plymouth in conjunction with the NHS found that anyone booking their session with Mynurva before 9am was able to receive a same-day appointment.

This is highly beneficial for people who require fast access to therapy and benefit them in preventing their condition from deteriorating.

Unlike an EAP provider, there is no gatekeeper at Mynurva to determine whether or not an employee requires therapy. Our direct self-referral service allows employees to book an appointment when they need it, as we understand that the employees know themselves best.

Mynurva offers fast access to talking therapies with no need for a GP referral and is completely confidential – employees don’t need to inform their employer of their condition. Using our simple self-referral booking system, they can be matched with a therapist within 24 hours and schedule an appointment at a time and day that suits them.

Furthermore, employees can access therapy from anywhere – whether at home or overseas – on any portable device. These characteristics make our service easily accessible and convenient for the employee.

Our speed and quality of service are highly important and beneficial for people leading busy lifestyles as mental health conditions may deteriorate over time if not addressed as soon as possible. Including Mynurva in your client’s health and wellbeing strategy will make a valuable contribution to their employees’ wellbeing and improve company-wide productivity by reducing employee absenteeism caused by poor mental health.
